Hi, here is my wishlist for GameRunner 0.4. I know that your goal is to make the Freerunner an open handheld, but I think it needs more things:
* A minimal tray should be added, with a menu for some options (like dim, language, volume, wallpaper, ...), the hour and date and a battery and Wifi indicator
* A terminal
* An update manager and repository
* Wifi working and web browser in order to browse the web
* Better visualization of icons: why don't use Elfe (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mKlDgl-Tquw) or something like that?
* Forking all apps in order to make them working perfectly on Freerunner
* Make all application translatable (language can be set in a menu)
Great work has been done by now. Congratulations! However, I'm not able to code so I can't help you (by now)
PS: I add some porting req in its section

EDIT:
Terminal and update manager entries added
"Multimedia player" entry deleted: I saw that mplayer is installed yet

Again:
* Gnuboy does not work
* Everytime I load a program an error appears:
modprobe: FATAL: could not load /lib/modules/2.6.24mw-g291a9d50/modules.dep: No such file or directory
* Some games loads sound in silent version

Multimedia Player: we also added a menu to choose files to play. And then mplayer is run. You can find the icon on main screen.

Terminal: There is fatfingershell, a good terminal I would say :)

What is "Forking all apps in order to make them working perfectly on Freerunner"?
