Hi again,

sorry for being such a pain but I feel pretty unlucky with my networking attempts right now.

After unsuccessfully trying to put my wifi card to use, I decided bring it down to something less ambitious.

I gave a go to my oh-so-old 3Com pcmcia ethernet card and well.. it didn't work either. It says the driver needs to be updated so that it supports shared IRQs.

How much sens does that make ? How could I possibly achieve that ? Thanks for your patience.

Usually that isn't a problem. If your card is an 16bit pcmcia card it really should work.

What model is it that works for you ? Mine is 3Com Megahertz 10/1000 LAN PC Card Model 3CCFE574BT which I realize is not 16 bit since PC Card means 32 bits. Bad luck here again.
