Braces and brackets in IceWM Mongo 7xx?

Hello,

I followed the "Jlime Mongo Linux on Jornada 7xx" guide under the Installation section of the forums guide to install jlime Mongo [IceWM] on my 728.
I went through the guide/tutorial yesterday, so I'm assuming I have the latest version of the IceWM userland (not sure on this)...

So far everything's been great in jlime, however, I'm unable of typing the braces/brackets characters that are above the P or \ and ; or ' characters. The function key acts a key to print a ` character, shift works as shift, ctrl evokes different functionality depending on the program, and the windows button does apparently nothing.

After reading around on the forums, I learned that some were editing their keymaps to get around keyboard character problems (particularly for a different language). However, I was unable to find any keymap or .map (or anything with any variation of those keywords) system configuration files in the file system. (I was searching with commands similar to "find / | grep -i keymap | more")

Some of the people I have talked to on IRC speculated that these keymaps might've been removed (or left out? or something) in the 7xx mongo images.

Does anybody know how to use braces/brackets in 7xx Mongo?

I'm still fiddling with it, but braces and brakets are here, keyboard is almost fully functional (currently no caps lock and no num lock). I'll finish it in 2-3 days and update the file.

Thanks for the keymap, it's working great.

I renamed it to keymap-2.6.map and put it into /etc. This is apparently the path that the S00keymap RC file searches for. I then moved the start script accordingly so it executes the keymap on boot.

Glad it worked for you. I updated file, it now has Caps lock and Num lock. There is also another file - keymap-us-sticky.map, Control Shipt Alt AltGr have sticky modifier to them to allow one-handed typing.

This thread is dead, but It'd be nice if somebody could upload a new copy of .map file. The link is broken.
I've already gotten used to weird mapping except having to press alt to get slash...

I've created a new map for my 720 that works with loadkeys

Numlock and Capslock don't seem to work, but I fixed some mixed keys for my j720 keyboard.
I fixed numpad bindings, but it's not going to work unless I fix numlock.
I also put Insert under windows key, pageup and pagedown as + and - and scrolllock as play button.
