Thats basically what i'm waiting for is a kernel newer than 2.6.19-rc6 that actually works as good if not better. Currently none of the new 7xx kernels work ( touchscreen for example doesnt work at all in 2.6.2x ). The touchscreen in 2.6.19-rc6 may be a little too oversensative currently, but it works.
That being said, i did receive a donation of a hard drive which i havent had time to install yet ( currently working 2 jobs which takes away free time ), but i will get that setup and pump out new userlands and packages in due time. With the exception of the kernel issues ( touchscreen, suspend, sound etc ) i feel the current icewm userland is pretty much in good standing for a beta. Its stable i know that much. My j728 currently has a 49 day uptime.
So while my updates may currently be in a lull, i'm basically waiting for a good kernel to be released to push me back into getting things done.
Cheers.
